Jenkins Named OEC Male Athlete of the Week, SoCal Pitcher of the Week

Riverside City College's Ryan Jenkins was named the Orange Empire Conference Male Athlete of the Week, as well as the CCCBCA SoCal Pitcher of the Week for Week #10 (Mar. 23-29).

The sophomore pitcher had a solid performance in the Tigers' 1-0 road victory at then No. 26-ranked Saddleback College. He posted a complete-game 5-hit shutout over the Bobcats, striking out four batters and tossing 77 strikes in his 114 pitches.

Jenkins and RCC hit the road to start a three-game series with Orange Coast College on Tuesday, with first pitch set for 2 p.m.
