No. 6-ranked Riverside City College conceded its first Orange Empire Conference loss to No. 26-ranked Saddleback College, dropping a 6-4, 11-inning loss.
The Tigers drop to 20-6 overall, 6-1 in conference, while the Bobcats improve to 14-12 on the year and 4-3 in the OEC.
Grant Gray (2-for-4) and Aiden Erlandsen (2-for-3) led the Tigers, while Josh Chairez (1-for-6), Johnny Alley (1-for-5), Bubba Heidler (1-for-5), Noah Haros (1-for-5), Isaiah Crowe (1-for-2), and Luis Sosa (1-for-4) also had hits for RCC.
Riverside looks to answer back as it heads to Saddleback for the second game of the series on Thursday at 2 p.m.
