RCC Grabs Fourth-Straight Win

Riverside City College grabbed its fourth-straight win with a 3-1 victory over Citrus College on Friday afternoon.
The Tigers improve to 13-5 overall, while the Owls drop to 10-5 on the year.
Three Tigers finished with two hits in the game: Bubba Heidler (2-for-4), Noah Haros (2-for-3) and Luis Sosa (2-for-4). Grant Gray also had a hit (1-for-3).
RCC took the lead with three runs in the bottom of the fourth. Gray led off with a triple to center field and came home on a Heidler single. Heidler then scored on a double from Haros, who scored off a Sosa double.
Ryan Jenkins picked up the win with four strikeouts in 6.1 innings, while Jake Valenzuela grabbed a save.
Riverside begins Orange Empire Conference action next week, first heading to Golden West College on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
