The Tigers slip to 7-2 overall, while the Griffins improve to 4-4 on the year.
Five Tigers had hits in the game, led by Josh Hartman with a 2-for-4 performance at the plate. Luis Sosa (1-for-2), Josh Chairez (1-for-2), Johnny Alley (1-for-2) and Luke Medure (1-for-3) also had hits.
RCC returns home to host Pasadena City College on Thursday, with first pitch set for 2 p.m.
