No. 13-ranked Riverside City College dropped a close 44-42 battle to No. 7-ranked El Camino College Saturday night.
The Tigers slip to 6-3 on the year and 4-2 in the National-Southern League. The Warriors improve to 8-1 overall and remain undefeated in conference at 6-0.
RCC finished with 445 total offensive yards, including 308 passing yards and 137 rushing yards.
Bryan Wilson went 27-for-39 with three touchdown passes. Dominic Cox, Kiyel Tyler, and Ross Nickson III each grabbed a touchdown pass. Marquis Monroe, Tyler, and Devon Nofoa-Masoe also ran in touchdowns for the Tigers.
Defensively, Micah Valenzuela finished with 13 tackles, while Caden Arellano followed with 12 tackles, including two tackles for loss. Donald Smith III had an interception for 30 yards.
Riverside looks to bounce back next Saturday, hosting San Diego Mesa College at 1 p.m.
