RCC Grabs Dominant Win

Riverside City College grabbed a 9-0 victory over Mt. San Jacinto College on Tuesday afternoon, getting back to its winning ways.

The Tigers improve to 6-1 overall, while the Eagles drop to 2-6 on the year.

Lucas Koitka and David Rose got things going for RCC with an 8-3 doubles victory before Ronith Sreeram and Giovanne Recchia shut out their doubles opponents in an 8-0 win. Charlampos Platianotis and Vinicius Magrin completed the doubles sweep with an 8-4 win to put the Tigers up 3-0 early.

Riverside kept it going with Plataniotis and Recchia dominating 6-0, 6-0 singles victories in the top two spots. Koitka, Rose, Jayden Weng, and Florian Mueller kept it going with their own singles wins.

The Tigers look to carry momentum into Friday's matchup at Whittier College at 2 p.m., weather permitting.
