Tigers Open Conference Action

Riverside City College opened Orange Empire Conference action with a 4-1 loss to Cypress College and also dropped a 5-0 decision to Palomar College.

The Tigers drop to 1-11 overall and open conference at 0-1, while the Chargers improve to 3-3 on the year and 1-0 in the OEC. The Comets move to 3-2 after beating both teams.

Sienna Veum and Jessica Lopez picked up the lone win for the Tigers, grabbing a three-set victory (21-14, 18-21, 15-12).

Riverside continues conference action next Friday, taking on Orange Coast College and Santa Ana College.
