Riverside Takes Sixth at Home Invite
Riverside City College hosted its first tournament of the year and took sixth, shooting 308 as a team.
Ashton Spaulding led the Tigers with a fifth-place finish individually, carding an even-par 72. He birdied on three holes, shot par on 12 other holes, and bogeyed three times.
Rigo Navarro followed with a 76, posting two birdies, to take 26th overall. Jack Wasserman was the Tigers' third scorer with a 79, while Michael Viene rounded out the scorers with an 81.
Elijah Gonzales carded an 81 as well, and Blake Richert finished with an 83. Ian Kim (75) and Justin Avila (88) competed as individuals.
The Tigers head to their first Orange Empire Conference match on Monday, March 9, at the Navy Golf Course, hosted by Cypress College.
