No. 5 Women's Tennis Finishes Off Home Schedule with Victory over Cypress

The No. 5 Riverside City College women's tennis team took to Orange Empire Conference (OEC) action this Thursday in a showdown against the Cypress College Chargers at home. After sweeping doubles, the Tigers rolled through the singles and worked towards an 8-1 victory.

Ellia Rosado paced the Tigers as the top singles player and cruised to a6-2, 6-2 victory. She teamed up with Heather Graf in the doubles to earn an easy 8-1 win. Graf played well as the number two singles player as well by earning a 6-2, 3-0 victory after her opponent retired.

Emilia Lopez reeled in a strong 6-0, 6-0 victory as the number four singles player.

Riverside (11-6, 6-3 OEC) will close out conference play with a showdown against the Irvine Valley College Lasers on the road on Tuesday, April 3rd on the road.
