Bio

Daniel Arias joined the Riverside City College coaching staff after finishing his running career in 2019 and is known to be one of the best recruiters in the state. Arias was on the 2019 cross country and track and field teams, but due to health issues that kept him from running, he joined the coaching staff and has done an amazing job ever since.

Arias is invaluable to the program in many ways. He truly enjoys recruiting and has become great at it. He loves giving all student-athletes, regardless of ability level, a chance to become a Tiger and improve in order to get to the next level. From the first time meeting future Tigers to guiding them through the matriculation process, he wants to make their first impressions of RCC as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Arias also works with Coach McCarron in track and field with the multis, middle-distance athletes, and the javelin crew. He also assists in all aspects of the cross country program.

As a valuable member of the RCC coaching staff, Arias' highlight is winning his first state championship ring during the 2025 track and field season.

Arias loves playing soccer, watching soccer, Formula One racing, and track and field. He is also a collector of some really cool cars and is very successful outside the coaching world as the owner of a thriving RV repair business.
